St. Petersburg resident adds ray tracing to Serious Sam: the First Encounter

Sultim Tsyrendashiev, a programmer from St. Petersburg, has released the RTX version of the cult shooter Serious Sam: The First Encounter
The original 2001 was taken as a basis, and not the HD-reissue. Therefore, angular models look rather clumsy against the background of advanced lighting and reflections.
To start, you need to download the archive and add to it a number of files from Steam-version of the game. Perhaps other editions will work as well, but in the description of the fashion it is the option purchased in the store that is indicated. Valve
Recall that the fourth part Serious sam was released last year after a long hiatus and received rather restrained reviews from critics (although the reviews from players on Steam are much higher, and we generally liked the game).
Croteam promised to release console versions this year, but so far nothing has been heard about them.
