Splitgate Authors Increase Server Capacity to Reduce Latency

Online First Person Shooter Beta Splitgate is already available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, however, due to its high popularity, players could spend hours in line to enter the game.

The popularity of Splitgate was so unexpected for the studio 1047 Gamesthat at one point the developers had to temporarily disable the beta, as their servers reached their maximum capacity.
After increasing the capacity of servers peak online has reached 100 thousand concurrent players.
However, players were still experiencing problems with queues at the entrance, so the developers once again increased server capacity. With this update, the authors were able to reduce latency.

Players now queue for less than half an hour, and only a few minutes in less busy hours. Sometimes the game goes without a queue at all.

Recall that earlier the release of Splitgate was postponed to August.
