Activision announced that soon the last three Call of duty stop working on Windows 7 – we are talking about Modern warfare (2019), Warzone and Black ops cold war…
The official reason is Microsoft no longer releases security patches, which puts computers running Windows 7 at greater risk of infection by viruses and malware.
“The lack of patches leaves games and players defenseless against hacks, so the termination of support by our games becomes a necessity“.
Black Ops Cold War will stop working on Windows 7 on September 7, while Modern Warfare and Warzone – a day later, on the 8th.
