Sony and Microsoft uphold George Floyd’s verdict: “This is only the first step”

A few days before the announcement of the decision, the situation in the state of Minnesota heated up, riots and clashes with the police were recorded. In addition, the Governor Tim Waltz introduced an emergency in peacetime regime in the state: shops were closed, police headquarters prepared for a siege, and schools were transferred to a remote mode of operation.

The jury could not decide on the very first day of the discussion whether Derek Shovin was guilty or not. The police officer was charged with second and third degree murder and second degree manslaughter.

As a result, Chauvin was found guilty on three counts. The final verdict will be pronounced in a few months, now the court will find out whether there were aggravating circumstances. The policeman faces up to 40 years in prison.
