Skyrim returns to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S! Bethesda has announced Skyrim Anniversary Edition

During the digital festival QuakeCon company Bethesda announced the re-release of the cult RPG The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimThe new version is called Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and its release on sale is scheduled for November 11, 2023

Skyrim Anniversary Edition will be the most complete version of the game. It will include all content from the original and extensions, as well as over 500 elements from the Creation Club service, created by independent developers. It was confirmed at the presentation that the anniversary version of Skyrim, among other things, will offer a fishing system

The re-release is based on Skyrim special edition – remastered of The Elder Scrolls V, which was released several years ago on consoles of the outgoing generation, PC and Nintendo Switch… If you purchased the Special Edition on Playstation 4 or Xbox one, you can upgrade to Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X | S is free… Technical improvements are being prepared, but the authors have not yet gone into details.

The Skyrim Anniversary Edition will also be available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The original The Elder Scrolls V debuted on November 11, 2011 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

Bethesda is currently building The Elder Scrolls VI for Xbox and PC
