Second Extinction Shooter Available in Game Pass Reaches a Million Players – Developers Report Success

Cooperative shooter Second Extinction from the studio Systemic Reaction has already attracted 1 million players… The team announced this in the official microblog of the project.

“We are incredibly pleased to announce that 1 million new recruits have already joined our ranks!”

The developers did not clarify whether we are talking about sales or the total number of players, taking into account the availability of the project in the subscription service Xbox Game Pass… Most likely, it was the last option that was meant.

Second Extinction is an online first-person shooter for three people, sharpened for teamwork and shooting mutated dinosaurs on a large open map.

The game debuted on PC via Steam Early Access in October 2023, and became available to console users at the end of April. Xbox Series X | S and Xbox one… At the same time, it is still distributed through the early access program and it is not yet known exactly when it will get to the final release.
