Sean Bean will die again and again – the developers of Hitman 2 introduced the January roadmap

Danish Studio Developers IO Interactive in the first month of the new 2023 prepared for players Hitman 2 fresh content. Next week, gamers will again get a chance to kill the legendary Sean Bean as part of the Immortal mission to eliminate the Phantom target. It will be available for 10 days starting January 17th. At the same time, if you have already completed or failed a mission for this purpose, your record will remain valid, and the contract will remain closed.

Agent 47 will go to Miami, where the character of Sean Bean is located under the name Mark faba. As a former Mi5 agent, he embarked on the path of lawlessness. Thus, the creators celebrate his villainous role in the film “Bond” under the name “Golden Eye”.

11 contracts will be added here, which will be available as of January 9. In addition to them, the community curator will select some of his favorite contracts that will appear in the game on January 23. The first curator will be a permanent member of the community with the nickname MulletPride.

Updates for the game will continue to be released in 2023, but they will not be as large as before. The developers will focus on the release of fan-created contracts and the reactivation of all time-limited missions to eliminate goals. Last November, IO Interactive already made it clear that it was curtailing active support for the project to “think more about the future”. A growing number of Hitman 2 developers are joining the team of the next project in the series, the creation of which is already in full swing.
