Rumor: Arkane Austin Is Working On A Dark Vampire Xbox Game And Starfield Is Not Mass Effect’s Answer

Considering that before E3 2023 there are only a few weeks left, it is quite logical that various assumptions and leaks about what will or can be presented at the upcoming show begin to appear on the network.

A fresh portion of insider information came from the ResetEra forums from a user under the nickname Point, who had previously published correct information related to Bethesda on several occasions. In one of his posts, he shared a new detail about Starfield and revealed the development of an unannounced game from Arkane Studios

According to him, Starfield is not really Bethesda’s attempt to make its own Mass Effect, but rather a combination of No Man’s Sky and Outer Wilds. This means that the project will be more about space exploration than about telling an epic sci-fi story.

He also revealed that one of the Bethesda / Xbox announcements at E3 2023 will be a game tentatively titled Omen from Arkane austin – Prey Developers 2017. The project is described as a new IP in a dark world with vampires and is aimed at release in the spring of 2023… Given the closeness of the game to release, it is expected that Betesda will immediately show a gameplay trailer or at least a video on the engine, and not CGI, as was the case with the announcements of Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop.

A shooter is also being prepared for release at the moment. Deathloop from the team Arkane Lyon (Dishonored 1-2). It will release on September 14th on PC and PlayStation 5.
