Rocksteady Improves Batman: Arkham City PS5 – Nasty Bug Fixed In New Patch

Rocksteady Studios released an update 1.03 for PS4 version Batman: Arkham City… According to the notes, the update fixes backward compatibility work on Playstation 5

This, apparently, is about a rare, but unpleasant error due to which the game for some users was rendered on PS5 in dynamic sub-1080p instead of native 1080p, as on PS4 and PS4 Pro. As a result, the picture looked more blurry.

The new patch should solve the problem with lower resolution, but it does not bring any other improvements.… The game is still limited to 30 frames per second, while previously the owners of the PlayStation 5 found out that without installing updates, the disc version is able to work in 60 FPS

Batman: Arkham City is the second game in the series, originally released in 2011 on the systems that were then actual. Port for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appeared in 2016 as part of the compilation Batman: return to arkham along with an updated version of the first part. Both games have moved to Unreal Engine 4 and along with that have received a number of improvements, including higher resolution and quality textures, updated effects and increased stability.
