PlatinumGames postponed the physical release of The Wonderful 101 Remastered, but prepared a gift for fans

Japanese studio Platinum games reported that she could not release a remaster The Wonderful 101 on physical media on time, as I ran into problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Now boxed versions of the game will appear only on June 30 in the United States and July 3 in Europe. Moreover, in digital format, the release will take place on all platforms, as originally planned, May 19 in the USA and May 22 in Europe.

Pre-orders for The Wonderful 101 Remastered were collected as part of a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. In today’s update, the studio noted that depositors who ordered a physical edition of the game are likely to be able to receive it no earlier than the full-scale premiere of boxed versions, that is, only at the end of June.

But so that fans who paid for physical copies do not miss, they will all be given the key to the Steam version of The Wonderful 101 Remastered. They will be able to go through it in anticipation of the treasured boxes or just give it to someone from their friends – if they do not have a gaming PC.
