Persona 5 Scramble intro video shows new character – review

Studio Atlus, as promised, published an introductory video Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, a game that is both a sequel and a spin-off Persona 5 in the musou genre.

The title theme for the game and video is the new song, You Are Stronger. It was written by Atlus composer Atsushi Kitajo to the words of Lotus Juice, one of the series’ regular vocalists. And she sang her even more constant vocalist, Lin.

During the introductory video, we are alternately presented to all members of the Ghost Thieves squad. You may notice that in the Japanese version, the alias of Futaba Sakura is Navi, not the Oracle. In addition, the squad is waiting for the addition, in addition to the already announced Sofia.

In a couple of shots you can see a hero dressed in black and armed with a pair of revolvers. Allegedly, this is Zenkichi Hasegawa, a detective investigating the connection of the Phantom Thieves with the new metaverse incident.

Previous videos have repeatedly shown that Hasegawa willingly spends time with the squad. It can also be assumed that the person of Hasegawa will be Jean Valjean, the hero of the Hugo novelOutcasts“: On the chest of the ghostly warrior – numbers 24601, the prison number of Valjean.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20, so far only in Japan. The western release will take place later, its date remains unknown.
