Overwatch League canceled all matches in China for the next two months – review

League Overwatch officially canceled all matches that were planned in China in February and March. The cause of this was an outbreak of coronavirus. A statement on Twitter said the decision was made to protect the health and safety of players, fans and staff. At the same time, matches at the end of the season are expected to be scheduled.
Note that China has already canceled the championship League of Legends Pacific Championship, Pokemon video game championships in Hong Kong (February 2) and some others. At the same time, on February 9, a similar event is planned for Pokémon.

Also canceled the final WESG Asia-Pacific Finals by Counter-Strike: Global Offensiveto be held in Macau. The timing of renewal is not yet called.

Chinese teams Guangzhou Charge and Shanghai dragons have already announced a temporary relocation to South Korea. Another Chinese team Chengdu hunters, reported that they will stay in China for a while. And the fourth group Hangzhou spark has not yet made any statements.
