Officially: Blasphemous sequel to the Dark Souls-style action-platformer announced, the first part will receive the final DLC

Publisher Team17 and a spanish studio The game kitchen announced that this December a gothic blend of Metroidvania and Dark Souls called Blasphemous will receive another free add-on.

The announcement was made at the presentation IGN Awesome Indies v as part of the Gamescom 2023 online exhibition.

Extension Wounds of eventide will complete the story of the Penitent One, begun in 2019, but the developers are not going to say goodbye to the game universe forever. Blasphemous will receive a full-fledged sequel as early as 2023 according to the end of the DLC trailer.

No details Blasphemous II, except for the logo and the release window, currently not. Target platforms, on which the sequel will appear, have not yet been indicated.
