Officially: Black Widow Coming To Disney + Including Cinemas – Disney Updated Movie Rental Schedule

Disney finally has a clear answer on when and where to start. “Black Widow“. The film was postponed for another two months, until 9th July, and now the premiere will take place simultaneously in cinemas and on the streaming service Disney + for premium access for $ 30as happened with “Mulan”. Similarly, will be released “Cruella“, but in the case of her, the date has not changed – it’s still May 28th.

The transfer of “Black Widow” automatically moved “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings“from July to 3rd September… It is expected to have a traditional theatrical release.

The release dates of many other upcoming Disney films have also been revised.… New dates received:

  • Cartoon “Luke“by Pixar – Skips release in theaters and launches June 18th exclusively on Disney +;”
  • Action Comedy “The main character“with Ryan Reynolds – kicks off in theaters August 13th instead of May 20th;
  • Spy thriller “King’s Man: The Beginning“with Rafe Fiennes – Launches in theaters December 22 instead of August 19;”
  • Thriller “Deep waters“with Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas – starts in theaters on January 14, 2023 instead of August 12, 2023;
  • Detective “Death on the Nile“with Gal Gadot – starts in theaters on February 11, 2023 instead of September 17, 2023.

New Black Widow Poster:

Chairman of Disney Media and Entertainment Karim Daniel commented on the new rental schedule, noting that it reflects the company’s focus on providing consumer choice and meeting changing audience preferences. At the same time, the simultaneous release of “Black Widow” on large screens and streaming confirms that the studio is not yet ready to give its main blockbusters to cinemas.… Although the market is gradually recovering from the pandemic, the box office has not yet reached the dock level, so Disney + in this case acts as a softening cushion if the film suddenly does not bring enough profit from the big screens.
