Nintendo closes service centers in the US due to coronavirus – review

Nintendo of america closed repair service centers in the USA in connection with the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. It is stated that this is being done in the form of a preventive measure. The company did not specify when it was planned to resume work. It is only known that all repairs are suspended until the end of quarantine.

Nintendo said that all accepted devices will be repaired as soon as the repair services resume. Those consoles that did not have time to deliver will be returned to senders. At the same time, the corporation announced an extension of the guarantee for the time the service centers were closed.

A similar situation is observed in the UK, where the telephone support line has already suspended work. Note that Nintendo was one of the first companies to report production problems in China when coronavirus problems started there.

At the same time, we note that the peak of the disease in China has already passed.
