Ninja Theory will not update Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for PlayStation 5

Studio Ninja theory published details of the free update released earlier in the day Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for Xbox Series X | S.

The version of the game for the new Microsoft consoles received various graphical improvements, a chapter selection function, and three modes with different presets.

Full list of improvements:

  • Higher resolution textures;
  • Increased particle quality;
  • Increased level of detail;
  • Increased draw distance;
  • Ray tracing;
  • 120 FPS.

Modes of operation:

Xbox series x

  • Performance – dynamic 1080p and 120 FPS
  • Resolution – Dynamic 4K and 60 FPS
  • Graphics – dynamic 4K, 30 FPS and ray tracing

Xbox series s

  • Performance – 1080p and 60 FPS
  • Resolution – dynamic 1440p and 30 FPS
  • Graphics – 1080p and 30 FPS

The developers clarified that the patch was not dealt with by Ninja Theory, but by the Polish QLOC, responsible for the Nintendo Switch port of Hellblade, keeping the core team focused on their ongoing projects, including Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

In addition, it was confirmed that a similar update is also being prepared for PC, but there are no plans for other platforms.… Owners Playstation 5 will have to continue to be content with the PS4 Pro version for backward compatibility.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was released in 2017 on PS4 and PC, after which it received versions for Xbox One and Switch. To date, the project attracted on all platforms 6.3 million players
