National Treasure Series officially announced for Disney + – 20-year-old Hispanic will replace Nicolas Cage

Meanwhile John Terteltaub, who directed the original Treasures of the Nation and its sequel, subtitled The Book of Secrets, is working with a screenwriter Chris Bremner over the full third part, in which Cage will again play Benjamin Gates, a cryptologist and treasure hunter who reveals the shocking secrets of American history. Other stars of the first two films are also expected to return to their roles, including Justin Barta, Diane Kruger, Harvey Keitel, Armando Riesco and Jon Voight. The plot of the triquel is unknown, but in 2008 there were rumors that the story of the next film would be centered around the search for Atlantis.
