More than 40 scripts written for the unrealized Star Wars series

In a new interview Ronald D. Moore (“Star cruiser” Galaxy “”), one of the scriptwriters of the unrealized series on Star wars subtitled Underworld spoke a little about the details of the project.

The show began to be created back in 2004 – it was then that a team of scriptwriters was assembled, which was to write the plot of the series. According to Moore, he was one of the members of the group, which every six to eight weeks gathered at the Skywalker Ranch, where work was done on the script.

The authors developed the plots, created their brief descriptions, discussed them with Lucas, and made the required changes. In total, according to Moore, 40 to 48 scripts were written somewhere. In theory, Lucas first wanted to have ready-made stories on hand, and only then engage in the production of full-fledged episodes using new technologies.

After the work was completed, some more time passed, and Disney bought Lucasfilm, and the series itself has sunk into oblivion.

Moore added that Lucas did not limit anyone in the scale of events or potential budget costs, so the authors in their stories did not exchange for all sorts of little things and immediately went all-in.

Moore did not disclose specific details of the plot, but before that it was already known that the action of the show was unfolding at the lower levels Coruscant after the eventsRevenge of the Sith“. And they wanted to make one of the main characters Bob Fett.

In addition, at the beginning of the year, test frames of the project flowed into the network.
