Microsoft Surface Duo will allow you to run two programs at the same time – review

Future dual-screen smartphone Surface duo, according to network sources, will receive a number of unique features. One of them will be App Groups, which allows you to create a common shortcut for launching two applications – one for each screen.

Technically this is a clone Samsung App Pair, the system will be integrated into the proprietary Microsoft launcher. The source clarifies that this way you can simultaneously launch, for example, OneNote and Microsoft Edge. Or it could be a browser and a messenger.

In addition, the Surface Duo promise stylus support and other features. As expected, the smartphone will be shown in August.

The following specifications are attributed to the smartphone:

  • CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 855
  • 6 GB RAM
  • 64 or 256 GB of read-only memory
  • Two 5.6-inch AMOLED displays with a 4: 3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1800 × 1350 each
  • Camera with 11 MP module
  • 3460 mAh battery.
