Method participants accused of harassment and rape – other players began to leave the club

Several girls talked about rape, harassment and other types of sexual assault by a player Method under the nickname Josh and co-founder of the club Sasha Steffens. Accusations

The charges against Steffens date back to 2015. According to several girls, the co-founder of Method molested them. The club employee apologized for one of the incidents, but did not plead guilty in the second case – shortly after that he closed pages on social networks.

The most serious accusation was published by the streamer under the nickname poopernoodle. The girl said that Josh raped her, and also repeatedly mocked her, including sexually. Soon after, she turned to the police, but the investigation did not lead to anything, since she had no direct evidence.

Other girls said that Josh often asked them to send him photos of a sexual nature, despite the fact that at that time they were minors. Most of them were about the player, because they wanted the attention of a popular personality. The victims also posted screenshots of correspondence with the e-sportsman.

Effects

Following these allegations, Method announced termination of work with josh. Organization also launched an investigation activities of Steffens – he was temporarily suspended from work. However, the club’s statement did not suit many employees.

More than ten players and content authors have announced their departure from Method. Many of them believe that management was aware of the behavior of Steffens and Josh, but did not deal with the situation in a timely manner.
