McDonald’s mistakenly revealed its own PS5 controller design

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Australian division McDonald’s created its own DualSense controller design for the PlayStation 5, which was abandoned during the planning phase.

However, the controller was mistakenly presented to the media and announced that 50 pieces would be handed out as part of Stream Week, a McDonald’s collaboration with Australian streamers.

Events were later postponed indefinitely, and McDonald’s Australia officials confirmed that controllers would not be handed out at Stream Week.

“Sony PlayStation did not authorize the use of its controller in promotional material related to the proposed Stream Week event. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. ”- McDonald’s Australia.

Viewers will now only be able to get 50 hoodies and 50 paid subscriptions to streamer channels.
