Klabater will release the Best Month Ever game of the Warsaw Film School – Igromania

Polish publishing house Klabater announced a new unusual collaboration. The company took on the release of the game Best Month Ever, on which a team of teachers and students of the University of Cinematography in Warsaw is working.
Warsaw Film School, founded in 2004, co-organizes the traditional game event PolskiGamedev.pl: Game Jam… The head of the Best Month Ever team is the Vice-Rector of the University Maciej Scheshnyak, the designer of the trilogy’s combat system “Witcher“.

The main character of Best Month Ever is the waitress Louise, who single-handedly brings up her eight-year-old son Mitch. Her life is not easy anyway, but here she also learns that due to a fatal illness she has no more than a month left. And then Louise and her son set off on a journey in search of his father.

The game takes place during the turbulent times of the 1960s, when the United States was torn apart by political tensions and brutal social inequality. At the same time, we will be able to look into the 1970s and see how the decisions we made affected the fate of the matured Mitch.

As you progress through all of Louise’s actions will affect the characteristics of the boy. He has three of them: confidence, justice and relationships. Their changes will affect not only the fate of Mitch, but also the course of events and the ending of the four-week trip with his mother. And each playthrough can be completely different from the previous ones.

The creators of the game were inspired by games like Life is Strange, and family series in the spirit of “Wonderful years“. Will be out in Best Month Ever on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. But nothing is known about the release date yet.
