Joke console: Bethesda secretly released The Elder Scroll Online on Google Stadia

Publishing house Bethesda and studio ZeniMax Online announced that IMO The elder scrolls online became available on the streaming platform Google stadia. Also, a developer’s appeal was published.

The oddity is that the company was too lazy to make a decent commercial for Stadia, while releases on consoles and PC got their trailers. Creative director instead Rick Lambert recorded a video on a webcam in which he sits at home in shorts with one foot on the other.

On the game’s official blog, no press releases were published today either, and in the comments to Lambert’s appeal, the brainchild Google TESO fans call it a “joke console.”

Note that Bethesda announced plans to release TESO on Stadia during 2023, only the news about the disclosure of the exact date went unnoticed. Developers promise crossplay between PC / Mac and streaming service, so you can use your existing account.
