Japanese gamers rejoice: Nintendo resumed Switch shipments to stores

Last week Nintendo stated that the supply Switch Japanese stores are temporarily suspended. The solution was due to problems caused by the spread of coronavirus. It was reported that the console will be available only to those who placed pre-orders.

Fortunately for Japanese buyers, the situation seems to be improving. Nintendo announced that shipments of conventional Switch (including Switch lite) resumed. It is expected that kits with Animal Crossing: New Horizons stores will be stocked by the end of April.

Nintendo, however, did not specify the size of supplies. Based on reports from Japanese retailers, it is predicted that in the coming weeks, consoles will continue to sell very quickly and demand will not be fully satisfied.

Commercial network Bic camera already announced next week, a lottery with a draw for the right to buy Switch, Switch Lite and Ring Fit Adventure games. Users will be able to register for participation in the period from April 21 to April 23, the winners will be announced on April 27, and on April 29 they will be given the opportunity to buy goods.

Last week, a similar lottery was announced by Yamada Denki.. He received 130 Switch consoles from Nintendo and invited users to take part in the drawing of the right to purchase them. Wishing it turned out 200 thousand people. The store’s server could not stand it and crashed, and the event had to be canceled.
