Inspired by Dark Souls and ICO: SCORN’s new creepy horror trailer unveils Xbox Series X version

During Inside xbox creators of the Giger horror Scorn from the serbian studio Ebb software announced that the game will be released on Xbox one and will be optimized for a new generation console Xbox Series X.

Scorn is described as an atmospheric first-person adventure game whose main idea is to be cast in an unknown world full of strange shapes and gloomy landscapes. Once in a dream-like place, the player will have to act in a non-linear way and explore different areas where each location contains its own story, puzzles and characters.

“The positive reaction to the first Scorn teaser trailer in 2016 was one of the most memorable moments for the team. The developers cannot wait to share additional information with you, and most of all they are eager to release the game,” the message said.

SCORN was originally announced only for PC in 2014 and funded by Kickstarter. The project is created on the engine Unreal engine 4drawing inspiration from Metroid prime, Dark souls, ICO and works of a Swiss artist Hans Gigerwhose influence on design is guessed at a glance.

The game has no release date yet, but it is already known that at launch the project will immediately appear in Xbox game pass and will support Smart delivery. The computer version will appear in Steam and Microsoft store.
