Quarantine, introduced in many countries in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, crippled the plans of not only large entertainment companies and organizers of various exhibitions, but also ordinary people who are used to study, work and travel.
So recently we told about how Japanese students arranged a graduation ceremony in the sandbox Minecraft, and the other day it became known about another noteworthy case of the transfer of an important life event to virtual spaces.
Reddit user Ashmush shared an interesting story about how life simulator Animal Crossing: New Horizons helped her with a guy hold a wedding ceremony after the cancellation of this celebration because of quarantine.
According to Ashmush, the idea was initiated by her fiancé, who unexpectedly decided with her friends to organize a virtual wedding event with a romantic setting on the beach.
Sharmin Asha and Nazmul Ahmed were due to marry next month, but because of the ongoing pandemic, they were forced to cancel the real wedding ceremony.
“My fiance organized this is [в игре] with our best friends. I am graduating from medical school and will not be able to attend graduation. Our wedding was also canceled. I was very upset from-for the cancellation of such important events for me, “- says the girl.
According to the bride, it took about 2 hours to organize the plan for her groom and friends. When the venue for the ceremony was ready, he invited Sharmin to his virtual island, where he presented her with resources in the form of a dress and roses.
“It made me so happy,” Asha said on Reddit. “I don’t even have words to describe how much this means to me.”
It is worth noting that in Animal Crossing: New Horizons does not present the mechanics of the wedding, unlike the online Final Fantasy XIVwhere players can get married, so the young ones had to improvise a little.
