“I screwed up”: Thomas Mahler on his words to the authors of No Man’s Sky and Cyberpunk 2077

This week Thomas Mahler, Co-Founder and Game Director Moon studios, posted on the forum ResetEra post in which named the authors No Man & # 039; s Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 charlatans. After a lot of publications in the press, Mahler published a new post in which statedthat “screwed up”.
According to the co-founder of Moon Studios, he was offended and also wanted to discuss the negative aspects of hype culture and how the developers’ lying words negatively affect both consumers and other developers.
However, Mahler admitted that he chose the wrong platform and inappropriate, aggressive tone to talk about this.
My intention was not to offend anyone, but to offer to start a conversation about the current problems facing the industry.
We all share a love for this art form and must always remain respectful to each other. But I wasn’t like that yesterday.
And for that, I apologize, especially to those whom I mentioned by name. I promise that I will learn from this mistake and do not wish anyone any harm.
Thomas Mahler
