Hayao Miyazaki’s next project will require at least 3 more years of work

Apparently, a new ambitious project Hayao Miyazaki have to wait – its creation may require another three years or even more.

Job called “How do you live?” based on the story of the same name – this is a “great fantastic story” about the “spiritual transformation” of the hero. However, due to the fact that Miyazaki uses new methods, the creation process takes longer than usual.

According to one of the producers of the studio Ghibli, now animators draw much more frames than before.

Over the ribbon “My Neighbor Totoro” There were eight animators who created one minute of animation per month. Sixty animators are working on the new project, however, due to the larger number of frames, the result is the same – one minute of animation per month. In other words, 12 minutes a year.

Work has been going on for three years, so the creators have 36 minutes of finished material in their hands.

While the authors hope to complete the project in the next three years, but this period may be delayed.
