Fallout 4 Lead Producer and Fallout 76 Development Lead Announces Departure from Bethesda

Project Manager Fallout 76 Jeff Gardiner left Bethesda Game Studios after more than 15 years of work in the company.

The corresponding announcement the developer made on Twitter and on Reddit, calling it “the most difficult decision in my life”… Gardiner began his career at Bethesda with participation in production The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, after which he switched to producing first additions for her, and then Fallout 3reaching the position of senior producer The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and lead producer Fallout 4… Subsequently, he was appointed head of development for Fallout 76, where he oversaw all aspects of the project.

“My time at BGS has come to an end. It was an amazing trip,” Gardiner wrote.

In his address, Gardiner did not name the reason for leaving the studio, but noted that he would miss his colleagues and thanked fans for their support.

The developer has not yet announced anything about further plans.
