Evan’s Remains comes out in June, but her release trailer has already been published – review

Independent Argentinean 2D artist and game designer Matias Schmid with support from the publisher Whitethorn digital going to release his first big game, Evan’s remains. She will appear in Steam June 11th, but her release trailer has already been published online.

Evan’s Remains combines the genres of platformer and visual novel. In the story, the disappeared genius Evan sends a letter to a girl named Dacis, in which he asks to find him. And, although the name of the game (“Evan’s Remains”) sets you up for gloomy thoughts, the story should be much more complicated.

As Dysis moves toward the goal, overcoming obstacles and solving puzzles, we will learn more about the disappearance of Evan and the role of the girl in this. Gradually, all fragments of the mystery, which at first seem meaningless, will fall into place and form a single picture.

The author calls as sources of inspiration Ace attorney, Ghost trick, Danganronpa, Yume nikki and other games, primarily Japanese visual novels. To highlight their role, the game was completely translated into Japanese.

In Evan’s Remains there will be no enemies, battles, deaths or punishments for a mistake. You can skip any puzzle if you don’t want to waste time: Matthias Schmid wants everyone to get to the finals and find out the main secret of the history of Evan and Dysys.

Over time, they plan to release the game not only on the PC, but also on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
