From February 9 to 12, closed qualifiers are held at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3 and ESL One Los Angeles 2023 by Dota 2. Teams from the CIS, Europe, Southeast Asia, North and South America are playing slots for the third major and major of the Dota Pro Circuit 2019/2020 season.
In each regional qualification, teams start from the group stage. The organizers sowed the participants in two groups of five compositions. The first stage takes place in round-robin format with best-of-2 matches. The two best teams from each group will play in the playoffs with the double-elimination grid, where they will play quotes for the major. In Europe and Southeast Asia, teams will compete for three slots, in other regions – for two. The losers will receive permits for the major. Meetings will suit up to three victories.
The rosters that will occupy the third place in the group stage will receive a qualification slot at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. Teams from the last places will leave the competition, earning 10 DPC points. In Europe and Southeast Asia, teams from fourth places will play another quota on the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor for the region.

Earlier it became known that the open and closed stages of the Chinese qualifiers were postponed to February 12–13 and 14–17, respectively. This was due to an outbreak of coronavirus in the region. Read more about this here.
ESL One Los Angeles 2023 will be held March 15-22 in Los Angeles. The prize pool of the tournament will be one million dollars and 15 thousand DPC points. StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor will be held March 5–8 in Kiev. Eight teams will play $ 300 thousand, 660 DPC points and a major slot.
