End of an era: Sony ends PS Store support on PlayStation Portable

FROM 6 july this year the company Sony officially ends support for digital store PlayStation Store on a portable system PlayStation Portable (PSP). It will no longer be possible to find and place purchases of content through this console.

However, the PSP digital library will not disappear in the foreseeable future – it will still be possible to purchase content through the systems Playstation 3 and Playstation vita

PSP Owners they should also not lose access to previously purchased games – they can be installed at any time through the download lists in the console menu.

Recall that earlier this year, Sony announced its intentions to completely separate the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable consoles from the PS Store. However, after the audience received the news in a negative way, the plans were revised, resulting in support PS Store on PS3 and PS Vita will continue.

The PSP portable console came out in 2004 and competed for buyers with the Nintendo DS.
