On their Twitter account, the studio denied the rumor, confirming that owners of the original Spider-Man on PS4 will be able to upgrade it to a remaster for PS5 for free. The news made a lot of noise on the network and began to spread actively, but do not rush to rejoice too much: the publication turned out to be fake… Many users did not notice this right away, as the page really does not raise any suspicion at a cursory glance.
The creators of the fake account exactly copied the design of the verified developer account, but if you dig a little deeper, you will notice a much smaller number of subscribers, and the page name, although diligently disguised as the real one, differs from the real one by one extra letter in the title: Insomaniac Games.
