Devil May Cry 5 for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will still receive 4K and 60 FPS mode, but without rays

Capcom confirmed today in the ResetEra forum that to reissue Devil may cry 5 for Xbox series x and Playstation 5 it will be possible to play 4K with speed 60 FPS no ray tracing… This option will be available in addition to the three others previously reported.

Among the alternative regimes,:

  • 4K and 30 FPS with ray tracing;
  • 1080p and 60 FPS with ray tracing;
  • Up to 120 FPS without ray tracing.

In addition to increased resolution, frame rates and ray tracing, Devil May Cry 5 will offer faster downloads for new consoles, a playable version Virgil, turbo mode with accelerated gameplay and a new difficulty level that increases the number of opponents. PlayStation 5 owners will also receive support for the tactile features of the gamepad DualSense and ray tracing is already at the start, while ray tracing will appear later with a separate patch on the Xbox Series X.

On PC and current consoles, of all the announced features, only the playable Vergil will appear. It will be added as a paid DLC.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will be released digitally for Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5 concurrently with the launch of the new consoles. The disc versions will go on sale on December 1st.
