desktop Deepin OS may appear on Chinese tablets – review

Today, the tablets are running iPadOS, Android, or Windows 10. But it seems that another operating system for tablets will appear soon.

Judging by the leak from the Chinese social network Weibo, the Debian-based Deepin distribution may appear not only on PCs but also on tablets. This is indicated by the image in the header.

The Debian tablet is not much different from the desktop. It has a panel with selected applications at the bottom of the screen. And at the top there is access to the control center, settings, and so on.

Note that Deepin OS is used by Huawei for some of its laptops instead of Windows. The system supports 33 languages, including Russian, and the number of downloads exceeds 80 million.

About the release dates of such a version of the system is not reported. However, such solutions are already on the market. For example, this is Ubuntu Touch.
