Corpse Reanimation: XIII Remake Developers Reacted to Harsh Criticism from Players

A few days ago, a shooter remake was launched XIII, which first saw the light of day in 2003. At the exit, the project literally drowned in criticism, it was actively criticized by both the specialized press and ordinary users, annoyed by the weak technical component, a string of errors and bugs, as well as an inexpressive visual part.

So far based on 532 reviews a new version XIII keeps in “extremely negative“rating zone Steamwhile negative reviews continue to emerge at a high rate.

Looking at a disastrous situation, companies Microids and PlayMagicresponsible for the release of the remake XIII, appealed to users, recognizing the launch of the project as extremely unsuccessful and promising to fix at least some of the errors with the next updates

“First, we want to sincerely apologize for the technical state of XIII, which was released earlier this week. Unfortunately, the game does not currently reflect our own quality standards, so your disappointment is understandable. The raging pandemic has largely crippled our production processes, and on several levels at once. The need to work from home resulted in difficulties in meeting the set dates, as well as testing certain elements. We hoped that we would have time to finish work on the patch of the first day, but here we simply did not have enough time …

We would like to convincingly assure you that the PlayMagic team continues to work actively in order to resolve the existing errors and difficulties. Over the next days and weeks, following the feedback closely, through the release of several updates, we hope to bring the project to a proper state. Soon we will release the first patch focusing on critical issues – control, performance, model collisions, rendering, as well as sound, “the developers said in a statement.

Now remake XIII available for purchase on Playstation 4, Xbox one, as well as PC… A version for Nintendo Switch, its release is expected next year.
