Comics with heroes of the golden era of “Soyuzmultfilm” will be created in Russia

Studio “Soyuzmultfilm“and the Russian publishing house Вubble Comicsresponsible for the superhero comic book series “Major Thunder“, announced the work on a number of joint projects.

According to the official announcement, one of the vectors of cooperation will be the creation of comics with the heroes of the Soyuzmultfilm golden collection, which includes such franchises as “Wait for it!“,”Cheburashka“,”Prostokvashino“,”Kid and Carlson“,”Kitten Woof“,”Winnie the Pooh” and many others. At the moment, Bubble is developing several universes where characters from different cartoons of the Soviet period will exist

“Comics are now experiencing a real boom in our country, interest in this art form is very high, more and more talented young independent authors are appearing. In this regard, collaborations in this area can be very successful. At the same time, cooperation between animation studios and producers comics has the potential not only in the creation of related projects, but also in terms of the exchange of specialists and ideas.

We want the characters to retain their spirit and vibrant traits when they appear on the pages of the comics. In this case, it will be a harmonious development of classical images, which will be interesting for the reader to observe, “said Roman Kotkov, editor-in-chief of Bubble Comics.

Besides, “Soyuzmultfilm” launched a children’s animated series “Crunches“based on the comic book series Bubble about the adventures of superhero beasts… Thanks to the partnership, additional characters will appear in the universe of the animated series, and the old ones will acquire “new characteristics”.

“Soyuzmultfilm at all times has been an experimental studio, and nowadays we are open to various formats of cooperation that allow us to create bright, relevant projects. Interaction with the publishing house Bubble posed us a number of interesting tasks that are associated with the” relocation “of comic book heroes on screens and vice versa.
