Chinese sources named possible specifications for future NVIDIA cards – review

There is no official confirmation that Nvidia will unveil its new GPUs in March, and Chinese sources are already reporting possible specifications for the new cards.
According to MyDrivers, it will be, first of all, accelerators RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 (names are conditional so far), which will receive 7-nanometer chips with architecture Ampere. GPUs themselves can show at the exhibition GTC 2023. They will be produced Samsung and TSMC.

As for the specifications, a Chinese source reports that the cards will receive chips marked GA103 and GA104.

Features of the first graphics chip include:

  • 60 computing units;
  • 3480 CUDA cores;
  • 320-bit bus
  • 10 or 20 GB of GDDR6 video memory.

The parameters of the second video core are as follows:

  • 48 computing units;
  • 3,072 CUDA cores;
  • 256-bit bus
  • 8 or 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory.

Specifications RTX 3080Ti not yet known, but it can be assumed that the chip with the code name GA102 will be more powerful than both of the above processors.
