China is preparing to reopen movie theaters – review

The Chinese authorities have approved a number of concessions, thanks to which the country will begin to open various places of recreation – including cinemas.

According to the authorities, the coronavirus pandemic in the country is for the most part controlled. Cinemas were closed in January, which resulted in financial losses in the industry, which amounted to about 2.5 billion dollars.

True, the date of the opening of the halls has not yet been named. By the way, in Hong Kong a similar initiative began to operate from yesterday.
It is interesting that Chinese cinemas tried to reopen at the end of March, but as a result, this initiative was premature and lasted just a few days. This time, the results are likely to be more successful.
At first, movie net owners will have to follow various additional security measures so as not to jeopardize the health of the audience. Among the first releases in the country there will be both local and Hollywood paintings – both new and old.
