Chernobylite Delayed For Consoles Due To “Unforeseen” Issues

Company All In! Games and studio The farm 51 released a laudatory survival horror trailer Chernobylitewhich received very positive reviews on Steam and 76 points from the press on OpenCritic.

Now for the bad news: the developers postponed the release of the game for Xbox and Playstation from the previously scheduled date to 28 september… The release was originally expected on September 7th.

As explained in the publisher, the reason for the transfer was some unforeseen problems in the Chernobylite console assembly, which will take additional time to resolve.

“We want to make sure we always release projects in great shape and pushing the Chernobylite console release date by a few weeks will allow us to achieve that.”

Development Director Farm 51 Wojciech Pazdur added that the studio was pleased with the reception of Chernobylite on the PC. The game launched on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG on July 28th.
