Bethesda explained how reputation works in Fallout 76: Wastelanders – review

Upcoming update coming Wastelanders to Fallout 76His testing is already taking place on a closed server. And the company Bethesda continues to piecemeal information about what awaits players in a major patch.

A week ago, the developers presented two factions that returned to Appalachia. In a place called Spruce-Nob, settlers built their base, skilled builders, but inexperienced fighters. And at the crashed space station in Crater, militant raiders settled.

Players will be able to meet the leaders of both factions – and make sure that neither there nor there they are not particularly welcome. But if you continue to visit the Prop and the Crater and take on missions, share information and destroy the enemies of the faction, then soon they will begin to respect us.

The faction’s reputation consists of seven levels of relations, from hostile and alert to neutral, friendly, allied, and so on. It depends on the level of reputation which goods will be offered by local traders and what new missions will appear among settlers or raiders. At certain levels, it will be possible to get drawings of objects in a special style.

Everyone will be able to establish relations simultaneously with the settlers and with the raiders: these fractions are not interconnected.

Next week, February 4, the company promises to publish a new trailer for Wastelanders. Perhaps at the same time the release date of the add-on will be announced – it was originally planned to be released in 2019, but then sent for revision.
