Batman fans were surprised by the game based on the movie by Tim Burton – demo gameplay

Designer Osmani Gomez published a video with a demo of the game about Batman, which he independently made on Unreal Engine 4 based on the original 1989 film by Tim Burton.

The demo includes several different locations, including a food outing on the way to Gotham City. In the video, the author shows free driving and movement around the city center, as well as a small quest with the Joker. As conceived by the author, while Batman was visiting the scene of the attack in the art museum, the villain violated something in the work of the Batmobile, and the player is given a choice: to go in pursuit of him at his own peril and risk, or to return to the cave and fix the malfunction.

In the demo, various flaws are noticeable, for example, there are bugs with the animation of Batman’s cloak, but for an amateur level the project looks very decent. In the comments under the YouTube video, many were impressed and surprised by the author’s work.

Unfortunately, the author will not release the demo to the public due to possible problems with the copyright holder, since the game, although it was created as a non-commercial product, is based on the property of Warner Bros. and DC.
