Back to The Last of Us Part II: PS4-exclusive gets a big update with a new level of difficulty and graphics settings

Company Sony announced on the official blog that 13 august an update for The Last of Us Part II Under the number 1.03… It will add new features, game modes, trophies and more to the game, including the Realism difficulty level that players have been asking for for a long time.

“Realism” and the regime of irreversible death

Initially, the difficulty level “Realism” appeared in the original The Last of Us. It was designed for the most experienced and confident players. The stakes in it are higher than ever, and enemies are more deadly, ammunition, upgrades and supplies are sorely lacking, and invaluable survival tools such as hearing mode, interface elements and much more are still missing.

After the release of the update, the difficulty level “Realism” will be available at any time for both beginners and veterans. Players don’t have to play through the game to open it.

When you turn on the irreversible death mode, The Last of Us Part II will not give users a second chance – they will need to go through the entire game without ever dying, otherwise they will have to start from the very beginning.

To facilitate the task, you can delve into the settings, where they give you the option to “continue the game from the beginning of the chapter or location.”

The update will add two new trophies to the game: one for completing the irreversible death mode and the other for completing the Realism difficulty level.
