Arthur Conan Doyle’s heirs sue Netflix for Enola Holmes – review

The heirs Arthur Conan Doyle sued the creators of a new film about a younger sister Sherlock Holmes.

The project involved Netflix and Legendary, based on a series of detective novels Enola Holmes Investigations by Nancy Springer – She was also called for the upcoming trial.

The picture should tell about Enola Holmes, who is investigating the disappearance of her mother. The heroine is trying to turn to her older brothers, but they are in no hurry to help her. And then Enola begins to deal with the case herself.

The main role in the tape Millie Bobby Brown (“Very strange things”), while the party of the legendary detective left Henry Cavill.

Representatives of Doyle argue that, although most of the stories about Holmes became public property, the last 10 works of the author are not included in this list. And allegedly Springer books are partially based on these subjects.

How to solve the situation is still unclear. The premiere of the film should take place in September, and recently the first frames of the tape have appeared.
