Apple asks iPhone users about standard charger – review

Recently Apple began to send a survey to iPhone users about how they use the charger included with smartphones. In particular, the company is interested in what users did with charging the last purchased device.

The list of options suggests:

  • Sold or exchanged
  • Lost
  • Gave to a family member or friend
  • I use at home
  • I use at work, at school and so on
  • Do not use
  • Charging is malfunctioning or not functioning at all
  • Recycled.
And although the survey looks innocent, a version has already emerged that in this way the company collects information to understand whether to remove the charging unit from the delivery kit of the future iPhone 12 or not.

So far this looks a little far-fetched, but you should not completely exclude this version.
