Apex Legends Lead Game Designer Fired For Comments Back In 2007

Lead Game Designer Apex legends Daniel Klein fired from studio Respawn… This happened after the network appeared screenshots posts from his blog with sexist and racist comments.
Klein admitted the authenticity of the screenshots at the end of last month. The lead game designer noted that the recordings were made back in 2007 and that he has changed his mind since then. “I take full responsibility for what I said. I am ashamed and sad. I’m angry with my younger self for saying that. ”- Daniel Klein
Now Klein toldwhich no longer works in Respawn.
“Since then, I’ve put a lot of energy into getting better, and now I’m just very depressed because I feel like I can never make amends for who I was.

I spoke racist and sexist words, not because I deeply believed in them, but because I knew that I could provoke reactions from people. This does not justify anything I have said. The impact of my words was the same no matter what I believed in. ”- Daniel Klein

In the comment Kotaku Klein stated the following.
“I fully acknowledge the terrible, sanctimonious statements I made in 2007, and I loathe my younger self for making them. I have no doubt that they saw the light of day because someone was looking for things that could hurt me.

EA was aware of these statements, and I specifically asked them to ensure that these strategies are used against other employees in the future. ”- Daniel Klein
